Met up with friends for dinner who were staying at the hotel. Room apparently was not good, broken towel rails, no curtains, not very clean and overpriced. The toilets in the bistro are very sub standard and definitely need a good clean and an overhaul. But it made up for it at the bistro, the meals we had were outstanding, everyone to perfection, the drinks very reasonable and the girls behind the bar were so friendly and a credit to the hotel. We will be back and will be telling others of the amazing food, well done.

The Meadowbrook Hotel is a great and friendly place. The staff are very attentive and the hotel is very homely and inviting. It is a very relaxing place to go have a nice lunch or dinner with a couple of drinks.

Great pub. Plenty of seating indoor/ outdoor. Food is good. Service is good. They have a fairly decent pokies room. Overall good local pub.

The room was lovely and spacious with kitchenette [family room]. Staff really lovely and helpful. Only a 2 min drive to shopping centre. Will be staying again in the future. Definitely recommend.

On Thursday 12Feb our usual trio had our monthly Thursday dinner outing after a few months break to find new menus, new items, & new pricing. There were more choices and we thought there must've been a change in kitchen staff. Orders were placed, & although it took a little longer than previous times, the food looked fantastic and tasted even better. I see other reviews here & find them unjustified based on my experience over many dinners had here. I'll definitely continue to dine here & have recommended to friends and family. What do they say opinions are like??

Visited the pub. typically pub food. We had 2 parmies and both of them were delicious. Portions could be a bit bigger for our needs. The chicken Schnitzel did have different sizes, although they both supposed to have the same weight. I had only 10 fries... compared to the other plate with nearly double the amount.

Very disappointed to be honest...the room stank so bad and it was very dirty and had so much hair all over the place ..was missing clean towels and the aircon remote ..I really hope they don't put any more ppl in that accommodation

We ordered two parmis, and overall they were solid—nothing overly special, but definitely not disappointing either. I’d rate them around a 7.5/10. I’ve had better elsewhere, but I also can’t really fault them. They were decent, well cooked, and enjoyable enough. Around 50$ for the two meals also Service was good as always. There was a bit of a delay with the food due to them being understaffed, but they did let us know a wait time upfront, which made things easier. In the end, the meals actually came out slightly earlier than expected and were served hot, which was appreciated. I’ve always liked the service at Meadowbrook Tavern. The only funny ongoing thing is I always seem to lose money here on the pokies or the punt—no matter how I go anywhere else. I know it’s just luck, but it definitely feels like this is the one place that never goes my way. Overall though, it’s a reliable spot: decent food, good service, and no real complaints.
